Re: 12 Volt Battery Issues

EQA Sounds very interesting. Jeff do you know if MB exhausted the $7500 tax credit yet?

I’d not like another first user experiences like my B class but price and options makes it attractive.... we’ll have myEQAelectricdrive.com site lol.

Re: 12 Volt Battery Issues

Responding to my post. Went with dealer batter at about $350 + tax as I’m also doing tesla motor replacement. I’m hoping the new motor will last > 5 years so that this is not end of the road for b!

Re: Heated windshield replacement??

Wow. I replaced mine about 2 years ago with auto insurance. The shop literally have to order the parts through MBUSA and ship them from Germany (if i remember correctly) and that was somewhere about $700-$800 with 3 weeks worth of wait. It’s bad that they don’t source parts anymore. Which just means...

Re: 12 Volt Battery Issues

My time has come with my 2014 B class. On both 12V issue as well as drive motor replacement. What are the 12V battery people are using? Dealer charges $650 for it of course but offered to installation only if I provide my own parts. I saw the XS Power D4700 suggestion from @cblankespoor. Any other s...

Re: Brake Fluid Service

Thank you both. I’m not too worried about the break pads as they tell me the current status when I bring the car in for battery certification and they have been good. It’s just the fluid service that I waited until 30K to do, but very weird to find local shops don’t want to deal with this car. Is ev...

Brake Fluid Service

How is everyone doing on the brake fluid service? Couple independent shops here that does this in Seattle market doesn’t seem to do electric vehicle and suspect electric brakes are different so I’m forced to dealers at about $200. Is that same experience to others? My brake performance is still norm...

Re: Tire recommendations? Cheap & quiet!

How are the tires? I’m about due for my tire and are actively looking for one. Either thanksgiving shopping or right after winter.

Urban driving for mine as well as these are electric cars that have 82 miles range. Quiet and comfort are the primary goal.

Re: Expiring Lease; Now What?

Alright. Finally I can give updates on my lease. My family like this car a lot to a point where we want to keep this and new B class isn’t really that much better. We worked with Mercedes Benz of Beaverton to actually get about 2.5k less than payoff. If this helps our forum friends, PM me for contac...
