So browsing around today, I saw talk about new models in 2022 (late 2021). Specifically, they talked about:

1. EQA. An GLA but all electric.

2. EQC. This we are familiar with but only sold in EU at this time.

3. EQE. This would be a GLE but all electric.

So it is coming but not this year, maybe next year. Hang in there folks.

I myself think an EQA is most like our B250e, more so than the EQC. Will turn in my leased 2017 B250e and wait.

Yes, but the question is will they bring them to the US? It makes sense for them to produce as many as are needed for their domestic and local markets first as Tesla is really mounting quite a threat to their traditional customers. Plus, the US isn't exactly a stable market for anyone right now. EV credit questionable, political turmoil, utter lack of national leadership... I did go look at the new GLA and though it is almost exactly the same size as our B, it feels so much bulkier (not a good thing IMO but others may like it). Other than that, it is a VERY nice car! If they do bring the EQA and it has all the same options available, it will be spectacular.

Talking to a couple of salespeople and according to one, the EQC will be available to order in 2021 as they phase out the PHEV hybrid GLC350e.

Am looking at the PHEV leftover in case they want to dump them but otherwise will wait to see price and availability of the EQC.

Hey all,

Mercedes unveiled their 2021 EQA, first available in Europe in February. Looks just like the ICE GLA hatchback. I saw an ICE one at dealer in Iridium Silver and was going to lease it but resisted the impulse. Will contact the MB salespeople and get on the list for the EQA when it comes to the U.S.

It looks like a nice replacement for our B250e, not as tall but should fit four nicely. With a range of 275ish miles, would work out well as my urban getabout and have the legs to get out into the country on weekends.

Base price in the USD40s.
