I put the stock $1000 Mercedes EVSE on the shelf. When I turn in the car it will then show up. I have an OpenEVSE that I now carry. It is in a $5 dell case from the swap meet. It is 16A 240V and 12A default at 120V. If I have a dedicated 20A circuit then I can set it for 16A.
That said, I sold the previous unit with a bad 120V adapter. I never used it to find out and I may never use my current EVSE. L2 charging in my garage works for me.
I suppose if the entire unit is $1000 then the bag would be worth $100 but not to me.
