To be clear, mine was a 36 month lease. Off the MSRP was $7500 federal tax credit. NY has no state incentive. Dealer chipped in $2500. Total $10,000 off. If I was more patient, could have pressed dealer for a bigger dealer incentive. They did cover last two lease payments on 2014 lease with no return charge.

Others in CA reported better deals, like $15000 off MSRP.

All of the deals are for leases in a CARB state. My 36 month lease was for a 47,885 car and I paid 32,900 on the lease. Mercedes is desperate for CARB credits. A lease specifies the state you are in so it is easy to verify you are in a CARB state.

MSRP $42,700 base model :-(
MB Cash $7500
American Medical Assoc $3000
Dealer cash $2500
Tax inception first month: $1500
Monthly payment: $270 x 24mo :)

Is the MB Cash $7500 the federal tax credit that MBFS passes along?
Thanks for the AMA discount, I had no idea!
