    Blast from the past

Mercedes is introducing... a HYBRID! Yes, 20th century hardware where there used to be 21st century tech. Mercedes introduces 2020 B 250 e using EQ Power I doubt we’ll see it on this side of the pond, but no great loss. One neat feature, however, is that there is no 12v starter battery...

Interesting testing results found about charging, range, etc

Yup, you're right: 110.8 vs. 112.5. Note the footnote at the top of the columns: the Standard test was done at 30ºC, the R+ test, at 16ºC ambient. That's probably a big part of the difference right there; as long as the HVAC was off during both tests, the batteries would be noticeably warmer...

But with the start of the Iraq war, plus my previous car dying, Europe got put on hold. It would be super if such were the case...

    Back to the future?

It is pretty, isn't it? :D I'm wondering if this "hiatus" between model years, plus the increase in length of the vehicle (as referenced in the article, being 43cm longer) may indicate that it will get an all new power- and drive-train. Of course, the big question is -- will this return to the...

    Back to the future?

Hi all -- long time lurker, first time poster. Could it be true? A 2019 model? And yes, the ED is mentioned! Anyone have any corroborating evidence? Back to the future: 2019 Mercedes B-Class reveals all its secrets
