I've noticed that the AC was on (blue light) when the car was parked. Ambient temperature is in the 80's. Climate control is "not active". Has anyone noticed this, or has an explanation for what's going on?

It's the dashboard readout -- trips are 20 miles using 18-19 miles of GOM (full standard charge registers ~87 miles range on GOM). If efficiency improves to 90 F, I should get near 5 mpkWh. I will test actual range soon with standard and extended range. I'm happy about the near 2-fold...

Looks like the efficiency increases to the high 70's F, up to 4.5 mpkWh on my commute. I agree that it will level off and decline, and have made a few projections on the chart. Anyone willing to make a guess?

That's great improvement. On highway, we have gotten 4.1-4.3 mpkWh recently. Temperatures are around high 60's. Anyone know what temperature will result in max?

Finally got up to 87 on the GOM will full charge with 3.5-3.9 mpkWh efficiency during the recent mild weather in Maryland. Plotted some of my commuting data, suggesting that 4 mpkWh may be achieved at around 65-70 F.

Saw our twin silver on I-95 south of Baltimore only once a month ago....

Persistence is the only option with MB. I tried for a month with MB CAC, but they never fixed the problem. It took repeated calls to my dealer to finally get the car synched. Remote control and monitoring are really convenient and they usually works once the initial connection problems are...

Got the best efficiency so far on my commute this morning--3.4 mpkWh at 54 F (50-50 city-highway 34 mph average speed). What is your average speed for city driving in NYC?
