GlennD, I know your problem, I am looking for cars with high seats too. From this viewpoint, Hyundai Kona Electric might look interesting but it won't be purchasable till 2019 (at least in WA). Did you try Bolt (seats)?

I was told (by dealership salesperson) that new b250s must be sold before April 1. Resale value is concern to me but I don't think it's 0. Average KBB price for my car is ~18.5K and buy-out ~20.5K.

Main question for me: what EVs I could drive without regret about B250, without losing much of MB fun and comfort? Alas, currently - almost nothing for affordable price. Maybe - Bolt Premier (I was able to sit in LT, seats are not good...) Kia SOUL is lethargic compare to B250 sport mode Ford...

Interesting observation. I had B service last week and yes, there are some increase in range. But I relate it to warmer weather in Seattle. Also, it could be tire rotation :) Currently - full charge (not extended) - 99 miles.

I could be mistaken but there is some buzzer that sounds at speed 0+<10 mph + turns shortly on when car starts To me it's sounds like faulty computer fan :)

How loud is this whining? Mine is much quieter than wipers.

High pitched noise (whining?) was since beginning (almost 2 years). A lot of quieter than ICEngine noise and only noticeable over 50% power or on low speed and quiet road. I never worries about it - seems to me as "natural" sound of electric motor. Nothing else (like acceleration) was affected...
