Mine has now done around 52,000 miles and I have become aware of the electric motor whine. I cant decide if it is more obvious than it was or I have become more sensitive to it. Pleased to say that mine sounds exactly like the video so good to hear JeffRay's comment that it sounds normal.

FIrst time poster, but 18 month owner (of a 12 month old used ED). So 24 months and 37,000 miles on the clock. Love it, love it, love it. Still feels like the best made EV. And just started a new job that requires 104 miles round trip per day (max hypermile I have ever managed was 102) so...

Not sure what you mean by going into P mode automatically. But I rarely put mine into "P" mode manually, I just take the key out and it goes into "P" mode. Does that help?
