    Is a 2014 B-class really worth only $3,000 ?

I recently sold my 2015 with roughly 55K miles. KBB is very helpful regarding pricing info, as you’ve noted. Mine had been serviced at my local MB dealership on regular intervals and was in impeccable condition. The problem that I encountered in my area, however, is that it’s not a well known...

    Heated windshield replacement??

The windshield indeed has a pinkish hue. My understanding is it’s related to the EV nature of the vehicle and its heated windshield, but MB should be able clarify that for you. They are expensive and probably hard to source as well. That said, if it’s anything that can be addressed by a...

    2015 B250e Electric Drive—For Sale

Dear B friends, I‘ve truly loved my B Class and have decided to sell it, albeit somewhat reluctantly. I’m thinking about upgrading to the newer model after my local dealership gave me a loaner to drive. Here are the details: Absolutely stunning and impeccably maintained 2015 Mercedes-Benz...

MBrace and iPhone app both kaputski

Thanks, JeffRay. Congrats on your new, albeit ICE, MB. I'm doing exactly what you suggested already, which is to estimate the time needed to charge. Fortunately, unplugging is not a problem I've encountered. All the best to you!

Is there any way to change the behavior of the J1772 lock?

My experience is the same as others here—mine does not lock. I wish it did, however. Has anyone figured out how to get theirs to lock? Right now I have a sign posted inside my car asking others not to unplug me. This has worked remarkably well, but a lock would be even better.

Latest news on the new EQB

This may not be the best place to post this question, but I can't seem to figure out how to make a new post. Anyway, I think you've likely addressed these issues elsewhere or at least thought about them. Does anyone know: 1) whether the app for the new EQ will work on the b class electric...

How to get longer range in the winter

Thanks so much for this awesome work-around. I've been wearing my warmest Canada Goose parka and mittens, so this will be a great improvement during cold weather driving. If anyone has the U.S. diameter and length measurements, I will be looking to purchase the pipe insulation and ties right...

    Insurance cost?

Good to know, JeffRay. Coincidentally, I did a bit of research and switched to Geico upon my renewal date. End result: I saved $400 for the same coverage.

    Charge Timer On Board?

Agreed. I actually reserved the Model 3 as well. However, after watching several Youtube reviews when the 3 was released, considering the fit and finish (which I perceived as a huge step down), and lower profile (which I already know I don't like from my past experience with my C-Class), I...

    Charge Timer On Board?

Sorry about the defunct links. They were working earlier. If you Google the year, make, model, and the term "ground clearance", you can confirm the information I posted above. I agree with you on both the B-Class and Model 3! Enjoy.

    Charge Timer On Board?

Glenn, My research validates your concern about the Model 3's ground clearance. In fact, the Model 3 has been suggested as a competitor to the MB C-Class, a model I owned previously and found delightful to drive but difficult to enter and exit. Here are some ground clearance comparisons: MB...
