Only charging at 2 kW rate!

Check the options in the car menu, there is one that limits the max charging rate.

    Presets for driving mode

Sadly, no - the car will default to D-Auto at each start.

    Next EV?

One option is to wait for the upcoming EQC. I went for the GLE Hybrid, since I needed a family car and earlier in the year I drove a rental GLC Hybrid in Europe for 3000 km and loved it. I know, limited EV range :(

Considering buying a used B Class - US - Battery Concerns?

By the way, I drove my 2015 B-Class for 3 years, 27,000 miles with no discernible loss of battery capacity - through the end of the lease the range, bot for normal and extended charging, was the same as new. These cars are robust :)

What is the range at 100% charge?

When charged to 100% (but no extended range) the B-Class should display 83 miles range. Try resetting the miles from Reset prior to charging - this should erase the past mpkwh calculatin to a default 2.5, which results in 83 miles range.

Any luck lowering the end of lease purchase price?

Here is how this works: - MBFS will not negotiate on the residual value of the car - this is something to discuss with the dealer. - In spite of what Jeff said about the dealer taking a $5K loss, it does not work that way as the car does not belong to the dealer - the car is owned by MBFS which...

Any luck lowering the end of lease purchase price?

With the gasoline prices going up and the dearth of good EVs on the market I decided to purchase my 2015 B-Class. 28,300 miles and the car runs strong, never left me stranded, battery capacity good as new. MSRP was $49.7k, residual value $22.8k, the dealer will sell it to me for $20.2k.

Great Lease deal for the last B250e on Long Island NY

It is not a loaded car - MSRP $42,160. And only 7500 miles / year - pass.

    Expiring Lease; Now What?

The Jaguar looks interesting - but would expect significant issues with a company that does not have good experience with EVS. Earlier this month I drove a rental GLC350 Hybrid throughout Netherlands and Germany - 2000 miles over 8 days. It is a decent car, very quiet, well appointed and nice...

Rear view mirror obstructing my forward view; any idears?

I am keeping the seat adjusted so I can see the full speedometer and get in and out of the car comfortably. What is the point for sitting so high above the road, if your head is close to the ceiling and you cannot see well?

    Recent lease or purchase transactions

Is the MB Cash $7500 the federal tax credit that MBFS passes along? Thanks for the AMA discount, I had no idea!

    Recent lease or purchase transactions

Mercedes subtracts the $7500 tax credit from the purchase price (or capitalized amount). My understanding is that GM adds about half of the credit to the residual to reduce payments - but this makes the option to buy at the end less appealing.

    Radar Assisted Braking/Regeneration

In my experience the car regenerates just as well in D-, radar-based braking or when you depress the pedal brake. To me the biggest loss is the ability to coast in D+, this is when you really save energy, but I would not worry one bit about regeneration, you would soon learn how much to press...

How many keys for US cars?

I got two keys for my MY 2015.

    Recent lease or purchase transactions

Check for uncovered option too, should be much less expensive. As risks to the paint job go, they are not any higher than if you were driving the car. My car moved 2000 miles from OR to IN for $900. A dealer from CA originally quoted $700.

    Expiring Lease; Now What?

I am not sure I understand how can there be just 10 vehicles in the system. MB is selling the B-Class at a pace of 50-60 per month, and just one dealer in CA has 13 units in stock...

    Expiring Lease; Now What?

Interesting - let us know how this works out. I am also curious where does the $2000 credit come from - the dealer or MB. You should be able to negotiate $7-8K off the MSRP for this vehicle, so it would be great if the credit applies on top of that. On the other hand, since I recall that you...

    Bluetooth Audio

My 2015 with COMAND option works great playing music from the iPhone. Press the MEDIA button on the center console and select the Bluetooth player.

    Expiring Lease; Now What?

As far as I know MB no longer sells the B-Class to dealers outside CA, WA and OR. it used to be sold in NY and NJ through 2015, but then they stopped deliveries on the East Coast. Since I live in IN I had to buy mine from OR. I just checked MB Manhattan in inventory and, as expected, there is...

Do they still sell the B-Class in NY? You may need to bring one from another state...
