Learn anything useful? Let us know if so.

The webinar was presented by a couple of experienced automotive investigators. Their work in general is to "Reverse Engineer" vehicles and try to determine the production costs (BOM, tooling, labor) Working on an EV was something a bit out of their league.

There wasn't as much electrical engineering to satisfy my curiosity, but I found the presentation useful. I have nothing but respect for Tesla Motors, they have certainly done their homework to deliver practical and reliable EV technology to the masses.

However, I have learned more from watching Jack Rickard at EVTV Motor Verks do Tesla battery and motor tear downs. His presentation style is er... Tedious. But thorough. If we just had a few more rainy days here in Sunny California I'd be glued to the computer screen watching.
