    Repair in London

Good to hear. Exactly what I have been reading of other examples where the rotor cooling is not required. People have fixed temp sensors to monitor. I could be wrong but do you know if did Tesla got rid of the rotor cooling in later models? I may have read about it or am getting confused with...

I would remove the coolant manifold, chop off the rotor coolant tube as it's not needed, grind the rest of the tube down to the base and fit a cap with sealant. The coolant would still flow under the cap via it's normal circuit. No more coolant leak worries.

Why do you need a new DU? Have you been having error codes? Do you have coolant leaked into your motor?

    And another new owner ...

Congrats! First thing to check at least bi-annually is the speed sensor. This is not checked by Mercedes in any service. Can be done diy. Quite easily accessed behind drivers side wheel. Look up B250e speed sensor on You Tube and you'll find a video how to do it.

    Radar-based Regenerative Braking

There's got to be a hack, but it would likely involve re-programming the ecu. There's a guy in the UK who has an old Merc and has re-programmed the ecu in many ways to modernise his car. All experimental but he get's there in the end! I don't have paddles on mine and feel the regen is...

Has anyone else tried DIY maintenance for Mercedes B-Class?

    Tailgate Trim Rattles

It is fixed by clips. Unless you have some missing it should pop back into place with a few gentle palm whacks.

From the manual: Desiccant cartridge replacement

I believe you can recharge the silicant as it's no different to any other dessicant. Just pop it into the microwave.
