I checked on the price of the high voltage battery for the Mercedes B class electric. $20,482 and there are 10 in stock in Jacksonville.

The 48kWh battery in the RAV4 EV is:

$36,000 / 48kWh = $750.00 per kWh

Nissan recently announced $5,500 with core for their battery which actually makes the Leaf viable to own rather than just lease.
