my family located in eastern ct are about to purchase the b-class electric for short drives. its daily mission is 40 miles. there are anecdotal reports here of the car being operated in edmonton ab. it looks to fit within worst reports of winter driving range of 60 miles. but ... what happens when there's a detour or traffic jam? if you have a 20 mile range buffer? is there a list somewhere how much it costs in kwh to run heat or ac?

battery starts are said to cost 2kwh of heat in winter.

is sitting in traffic free during summer?
