Is it possible to replace just the charge port socket on the b250e. It seems that a faulty charging cable has made me some damage to the plastic pins in the charge port. Caused them to melt or deform. MB wants me to replace the charge port together with the entire chargeing cable that runs from the charge port to the charge unit uner the hood. Has anyone experienced anything similar. Car charges normally and after the original error was cleared there was never another issue. obviousy the cable that caused the damage was never used again.
