lost s/e mode

Has anyone "lost" the ability to switch between sport/economy (and plus) modes?
I've had mine a week now, and perhaps there is some combination of settings I've tweaked, but pressing and/or holding the driving mode button, either before engaging the transmission or while driving produces no lit button, nor any change in driving style.
Car is running as if one was a conservative hybrid owner, so it's either stuck on e or e+.

Was the car serviced recently. I had to have a computer update and lost E+ from it.

Sounds like there is a bigger problem. Normally, even in E mode, the car is plenty zippy, so if you feel like it's running as a driven by a conservative hybrid owner, than it seems there's a problem.

Note, on my car there is no light in the switch. The E/S is on the dashboard, bottom right, left of the battery use gauge.

I would certainly have your car checked out.
