I do not have solar but I'm thinking of installing a small 3kw system just to offset my peak and some of my partial-peak usage.
I'm on a time of use plan. Very complicated IMO but it is what it is. I won't list all the details of dates, days of the week, or times but it gives an idea:

Yes, leases already account for the fed credit. the check is sent by state but there is a 30 month min lease length requirement. Also there is now income limit so depending on your income you may get more than $2500 or none at all. If you make less than $250K single or $500K joint filing you...
