I just got my 2014 b class with multimedia package and navigation and have it paired to my iPhone over Bluetooth. That works fine but I'd like to be able to interact with Siri without having to press the home button on my iPhone. On my other car I could just hold a button on the stereo for a second or two and then I'd get Siri's familiar beeps playing through the speakers and I could use it via the cars speakers and mic. I expected the voice activation button on the steering wheel to work the same way, but it summons the command navigation instead. Anyone know how (or if it is possible) to activate Siri via the cars controls?

I don't believe this is possible, but you can configure your iPhone so that when it is plugged into your EV to activate Siri when you say "Hey Siri".

Ok, I found a solution. This Little button cost $25 and pairs with the iPhone over Bluetooth and emulates a push of the home button. I mounted mine over the cigarette lighter socket.
