I do not seem to have any sound at low speed to warn pedestrians. I have driven between two very reflective cement walls with the windows down and hear nothing but the tires on the pavement.

Does anyone know where it is, how to test it, how to replace it, part number, etc.?

Nrkmann,

Don't know and have never seen post that answers. It is a safety install or take to dealer and see if they can diagnose and quote fix. I live in an urban area and don't hear anything and doubt the pedestrians do either frankly. I let them pass as that is the law. We are just a little harder to the touch than walking into a bike.

I would love to be able to change the sound.. I want to use the sound from the 80's Knight Rider show.

At the risk of belaboring the obvious.... are you sure you know what the pedestrian sound is like? You can hear it here:

At about 10:56 in Robert talks about it. It's such an odd noise that I don't think I knew what it was at first. It just sounded like a wonky cooling fan.

In case you're interested, there is a Fiat 500e owner who tracked down and disconnected the noise maker in his car. In his case it was a distinct unit behind a plastic panel in the wheel well.

If our B's are similar, maybe you could change out the sound maker for something else, or in your case fit a replacement for your broken one.
