I purchased my car six months ago, lately my key's been giving me the low battery warning. Should I just swap the battery myself or get Mercedes to do it? Should that be covered under warranty? I don't mind changing the battery, just don't want to break it and I found it odd that my battery is done after six months

nevermind, its super easy to replace it, don't even need a screwdriver, ordered a pack of 10 batteries from Amazon for $8.26

Just pull metal key out, flip it to the other end and push back into the slot, the battery cover will pop up and you can swap the CR2025 in, you can't use 2032

Whenever possible, do it yourself. Amazon is great for coin cells. The dealers look for ways to make money whenever you bring your car in.
